Jack Wilber Craig Jr. Ovid Jack Wilber Craig Jr., found his peace on November 6, 2012. He was born two months premature at Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base in Oceanside, California on February 8, 1954. He was born a fighter and stayed that way until the very end. He will be welcomed into heaven by his parents, Jack W. Craig Sr. and Margaret Craig; baby sister, Margaret; niece, Brandy Presson; brothers-in-law, Russell Presson and Jim Richard; as well as his grandparents; and many friends and family. Left to carry on remembering him are his only child, Sara (Mike) Kurka of Ovid; also his grandchildren, Aubrey and Mason Kurka of Ovid; his sisters, Vicki Richard of Laingsburg, Linda (Bob) Jameson of Englewood, FL, Peggy (Alan) Bryson of Rives Junction, Penny (Roger) Reha of Elsie; and one brother, Dan Craig of DeWitt. Jack lived a colorful life. He loved riding motorcycles, driving fast, back roads, working, good food and telling anyone that would listen about his daughter and grandchildren. He retired from GM in 2006 working mostly in plants 1 and 3. He was a member in good standing of the U.A.W. local #652. He will be deeply missed but always remembered with a smile. A memorial service will be held, 6:00 PM, Sunday, November 11, 2012 at the United Church of Ovid, 131 W. Front St, Ovid, MI 48866. The family was served by Osgood Funeral Homes.
