Norman D. Adams

Age 73, passed away July 15, 2014. He was born November 19, 1940 in Lansing. Norm was an Army captain during the Vietnam War. He started his career at Adams Tool & Engineering, then worked and retired from General Motors as an automotive engineer. Norm was very active and enjoyed gardening, quilting, Lansing Lugnut games, MSU Women's Basketball games and going to auctions. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, friends and pets.
Surviving are is wife of 52 years, Fran Adams; children, Alicia (Dominick) DeBello, Todd (Lisa) Adams and their children, Kyle, Madelynn, Harrison and Jeffery, Carrie (Donald) McDaniels and their children, Dustin and Rachael; sisters, Jacqueline (Norman) Wood, Linda Ried; numerous nieces and nephews, and Kathleen Schims, special family friend.
A Celebration of Life for Norman will be held from 1-5 P.M. Saturday, August 16, 2014 at the home of Jacqueline and Norman Wood, 10620 Hart Hwy., Dimondale, MI 48821, with military honors at 2 P.M. by the Morley S. Oates VFW Post 701.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Hospice of Lansing Stoneleigh Residence, 3411 Stoneleight Dr., Lansing, MI 48910 in Norman Adams memory.
