Patricia (Pat) A. Beasley Lansing Pat Beasley, a woman known for her infectious laugh and her love of kids, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013. Born on February 24, 1938, Pat was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Hazel (Thompson) Adams and her son Robert W. Beasley. She is survived by her devoted son Gary and his wife Therese, her two loving granddaughters Nicole (Brett) Prior and Ashley Beasley. She is also survived by her two step-grandsons Matt and Drew Binkley, former special daughter-in-law, Mary Benjamin, and many special cousins and friends. Pat retired from the Kmart Corporation after 25 years of service. She also worked at Metro Bowl for 25 years and Royal Scott Lanes for 23 years where she devoted 50 years to the Saturday youth bowling leagues as a coach and mentor and was instrumental in starting the high school bowling clubs/leagues. Pat was inducted into the Lansing Bowling Hall of Fame in 1995 for her meritorious years of service to the Lansing bowling community. The bowling community has truly lost a wonderful woman. Pat was a member of the Women of the Moose, Chapter 116, since 1972 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Lodge 1039, since 1980. Join us in celebrating Pat's life at a memorial service on Saturday, April 6, 2013, 4:00 p.m., at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 East Michigan Avenue, Lansing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Pat's name to the Greater Lansing USBC Youth, care of Shar Maynard, 15253 Chetwyn, Lansing, MI 48906.
