Paul J. Waters Lansing Paul J. Waters, born April 27, 1934, in Chicago, IL, a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend passed away December 3, 2012, at Sparrow Hospital. Paul proudly served his Country in the United States Air Force (stationed in Japan) as a meteorologist from March 1953 through March 1957. Paul worked as a Photographer for the Republican Party under Governor Milliken and also served as a Lansing Police Officer for the City of Lansing in the 1960's. He also was a member of the Michigan Pilots and Owners Assoc. and the Michigan Longbow Association. He retired from Ingham County Prosecuting Attorney's Office as a Service Investigator May 1, 1996. Preceding him in death were his parents, Paul R. and Isabell Waters and sister, Dorothy Waters of Chicago, IL. Memories will be cherished by his wife of 51 years, Lois Ann; son, Mark and grandchildren, Allison and Mack, who were the "love of his life"; brother-in-law, Craig Wedge (Jeryl Powers); niece, Sharon Wedge; nephews, Kurt (LuAnn) Wedge, Marty (Meranda) Wedge, Gary (Karin) Wedge, Steve (Heather) Wedge; 5 great-nephews and many friends. Paul loved the outdoors, airplanes, flying and his Summer place at Loon Lake. His sense of humor and love of life will be dearly missed. Per Paul's wishes, his body has been cremated. There will be no services.
