Ricardo Rendon Lansing Born August 16, 1950 in Robstown, TX to Reynaldo and Maria (Lozano) Rendon, passed away January 24, 2013 at the age of 62. He married Cathy Scott on November 7, 1983 and she survives. Ricardo served our country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and worked 38 years at General Motors plant 2. He enjoyed playing sports such as softball and bowling, loved fishing and like his father, loved taking photographs and videos of others. Ricardo cherished his family and his church. He was a member of Cristo Rey Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and a longtime member of St. Vincent De Paul. He also served on the Parish Counsel. He was preceded in death by his father, Reynaldo in January of 2012. Besides his loving wife, Cathy, Ricardo is survived by his mother, Maria, daughter, Altheria Joann, granddaughters, Alexis and Mikayla, adopted daughter, Sara (Pat) McFarland and her children, Cameron and A.J., close cousins, Rosanna Gatica, Marylou Garza, Ruben Chavez as well as many other close family and friends. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 201 W. Miller, Lansing with Rev. Frederick L. Thelen officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday, January 28, from 5-8 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Cristo Rey Catholic Church or Mother Teresa House, P.O.
