Richard Martin Campau East Lansing Born in Detroit on September 1, 1930. He died on April 28, 2013 at the age of 82 years. He was a graduate from the School of Bussiness of the University of Detroit. He earned a Master's Degree in Business Finance from the University of Michigan. He was associated with the Michigan State Medical Society for 35 years, retiring as Finance Director in 1996. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Sally R. (Labadie); 3 children, Renee (Greg) Eis of Mason, Richard D. Campau of East Lansing and Robert M. (Julia) Campau of East Lansing; 5 grandchildren, Stephanie and Geoffrey Eis, Jon Robert, Evelyn and Margot Campau; brother, Tom (Carol) Campau; sister, Mary (Dick) Paschke; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard B. and Loyola E. Campau and a brother Daniel. The Funeral Mass will be Celebrated by Fr. Mark Inglot at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2013 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 955 Alton Dr., East Lansing, MI. The family will receive friends at the Church 1 hour prior to the Mass. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Thomas St. Vincent de Paul Society.
