Richard Ray Marietta Eaton Rapids Age 86, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2013 with his family beside him. Missing him greatly are his wife, Mary-constant companion of almost 69 years; daughter, Carolyn (Don) Wyckoff; granddaughter, Angela (Dan) Kidder; grandson, Matthew Wyckoff, and great-grandchildren, Madelyn, and Carson Kidder; brother-in-law, Henry Puffenberger; and several nieces and nephews. Passing before him were his father, Ray; mother, Florence; brothers, Paul, Lewis; and infant sister Donna. Born in Charlesworth, Richard lived his entire life in Eaton Rapids area. Richard was retired from General Motors, and was a member of several motorcycle clubs. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on November 1, 2013 at the Eaton Rapids Senior Center for family and friends who would like to attend. The family would like to especially thank Skinner Funeral Home, the caregivers at Dimondale Center; especially Renee, Eunice, Ruby, Debbie, Jesse, and many others for the loving care he received this past month, Capt. Mike Line, PA for the years of care for his physical needs, and Pastor Scott Boles for seeing too his eternal needs. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Eaton Rapids Senior Center.
