Ronald Duncan Lansing Ronald Duncan of Lansing, Michigan, died on July 1, 2013, after a long illness. Ronald was born in Rushville, Indiana, on March 23, 1948, and graduated from Albion College and Cooley Law School. He was an Elder and Deacon at First Presbyterian Church in Lansing, and also volunteered for many youth programs and programs to feed the needy. In accordance with his wishes, he has willed his remains to Michigan State University. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Gary and Annette Furst Duncan, his siblings David Henderson, Patricia Henderson Ballard and Linda Henderson Marriott, and his nephew Christopher Bragg. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Nancy, and his children Michael and Acacia (Matt Slaybaugh); his siblings Steven (Kris) Duncan and Nancy (Mick McGrath) Duncan, as well as Susan (Paul) Hernandez, Diane (Jim) Goodsmith, Edward (Heidi) Henderson and Scott (Robin) Henderson; his in-laws, Worth and Anne Henderson, and numerous nieces and nephews. His family would like to give heartfelt thanks to the staff at Timber Ridge Assisted Living, who made his last days happy and comfortable. A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Lansing on July 3 at 2:00 p.m. His family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made in Ronald's name to either the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (www.theaftd.org) or the Greater Lansing Food Bank (www.greaterlansingfoodbank.org).
