Rufus Daryl Jackson East Lansing Age 58, was born on March 23, 1954 in Detroit, MI to Rufus and Bessie Jackson and passed away on March 11, 2013. He received his B.A. Degree from Michigan State University. After graduation he worked for the State of Michigan Department of Human Services and retired in 2006, after a long career in foster care recruitment and juvenile justice. He served as Dean of the Jackson, Michigan branch of the Institute of Divine Metaphysical Research. His greatest joy was being a servant of Yashua, the Messiah. Survivors include: his wife, Quintella; children, Rufus Kraig (Kelly), Jernae Raquel, Thaddeus David and Janeane Nicole (Damien); grandchildren; Rufus Quinten, Brevin Joseph, Kieran Denfort and Kira Christine. Rufus touched many hearts and will be missed by all of us. Friends may visit Mr. Jackson Thursday, March 14, 3 - 6 p.m. at the Riley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 15, 12:00 p.m. at the Riley Funeral Home, 426 W. St. Joseph. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the services.
