Sherril Ganeane Badgley DeWitt Age 59 passed away August 12, 2013 at Sparrow hospital with her family at her side. She was born May 7, 1954 in Lansing the daughter of John and Rebecca (Jones) Cornell, Jr. She married Alvin Badgley and he survives. Sherril was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Charles and Owen and brother-in-law: Henry Turcotte. Besides her husband, Al, she is also survived by her children: Erik (Lindsey) Badgley, Jason Badgley and Keith (Jennifer) Badgley; 3 grandchildren: Hailey Pecic and Ethan and Hannah Badgley; siblings: John (Ruby) Cornell, Kerry Cornell, Constance (David) Dennis, Lurenea Turcotte and Rebecca Denise (John) Shaver. Sherril graduated from Michigan State University with her Bachelor's degree and served as a substitute teacher for Lansing Public Schools as well as a Bible School Teacher at South Riley Bible Church. Sherril thoroughly enjoyed her family and spending time with them, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed singing, bargain shopping, garage sales, and going on vacation with family at her cottage in Mesick, MI. She loved to read the Bible and hand out Bible tracks. Sherril's family will celebrate her life on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at 12 PM at Trinity Church, 3355 Dunckel Rd, Delhi Twp with Pastor Ed Halsworth officiating.
