Harold Jay Martin Williamston Passed away on Monday, July 22, 2013 at age 95. Born March 21, 1918 in Sac City, Iowa to Guy and Irma Martin. Harold was raised on a farm in Minnesota. He hired in to General Motors in 1940 and retired from Oldsmobile in 1980. Harold was a charter member of Hope Lutheran Church in DeWitt. He loved gardening and taking care of his lawn. Preceding him in death were his wife, Ann Martin; son, Ronald Martin; sister, Opal Barnhill and his parents. Surviving are his son, Gary Martin of Williamston, MI; grandchildren, Tammy (Scott) Meyers of Colorado, Terri (Kurt) Simek of Alaska, Teresa (Harry) Davis of Pennsylvania, David (Victoria) Martin of Eaton Rapids, MI, Denise (Dan) McClelland of Traverse City, MI, Chris Klaver, Steve (Lucretia) Klaver, Katie Klaver, Melissa (Greg) Depasqualli; great grandchildren, Brittany, Kyle, Jacob, Axel, Aiden, Adison; half sister, Betty Weiben as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 26, 2013 at Hope Lutheran Church, 1180 W. Herbison Rd. DeWitt, MI 48820 with Pastor Tony Sikora officiating.
