SPRING HILL, FL: We can't believe it's been a year now, Dad, we miss you and love you so and want to give you the tribute you deserve.
Jack was born in Basil, Ohio July 8, 1920. He served in the army during WWII and was honorably discharged January, 1946. Jack learned the masonry trade from his father and perfected these skills in and around his hometown, now called Baltimore, Ohio. He met and married a beautiful German immigrant, Martha Faber, in 1954. They had 34 wonderful years together with twin daughters arriving in 1960. Martha's brother, Johannes, became Jack's business partner in 1957 and Neff and Faber Masonry Contractors became well known and respected in Fairfield and surrounding counties of Ohio for the next 25 years. Jack's hobbies included playing golf and cards at the Lancaster Country Club and taking trips with Martha. They retired to Florida and had 8 years of quality time together before Martha's untimely passing in 1993.
In 1996, Jack married Jeanne, a feisty red head from Long Island, and was fortunate enough to have another loving marriage for the next 16 years.
Jack was preceded in death by his loving wife Martha, his parents, Elmer and Thurza, brother, Ralph, and sisters, Gwen and Charlene.
Survivors include his two daughters, Patricia and Jacqueline; and step-children, Kathy, Mary, Claire and Brian. Jack is fondly remembered and missed by many.
Dad, we are comforted by the fact that you are in heaven now, catching up with mom and playing pinochle with the neighbors, just like old times....
