BARRON, John "Johnny"
A loving husband, father and grandfather John "Johnny" William Barron passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the age of 81 years. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 59 years, Sheila Barron (nee Edmonds); his adoring daughters Brenda Barron (John Holmes) and Lorri Young (Rob); and his precious grandchildren Nikki and Ryan Turner (dad Rob Turner), and Emma and Sydney Young, who will miss him dearly. Also mourning his loss are aunt Mary Babiy of Pitt Meadows; nephew Dwight Wilson (Val) of Prince George; sister-in-law Laura Frazer (Danny) of Maryfield; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many special friends. John was predeceased by his parents Steven Barron and Pearl Cundal (nee Wolansky); sister Dorothy (Jim) Wilson; his Baba Nancy Hruchack; uncles Steve (Eva), Bill (Pauline), John (Enid), Alex (Hazel) and Peter Wolansky and aunt Mary (Wolansky) Kniazky. Born in Bexhill, SK and schooled at Bounty, then Moose Jaw, John had a natural talent with anything mechanical. His career path led him to IPSCO where he remained for 36 years and fostered many lasting relationships. His work never stopped with retirement, as he volunteered tirelessly, right up to his final hour. It is with tears of sadness that we celebrate the Joy he brought to our lives. His CELEBRATION SERVICE will be held at Lakeview United Church, 3200 McCallum Avenue, Regina, SK on Monday, April 29, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Johnny's family wishes to thank all of "our nurses" and all others in the Congregation at Lakeview as well as the EMS team who worked so hard and with such skill to help Johnny.
