Sharon June Matick (Adams)
Sharon June Matick passed away peacefully on the morning of January 29, 2014, at Pasqua Hospital at the age of 66 years. She was born May 24, 1947. Sharon was predeceased by her parents Bob and Greta Adams; grandparents Nina and Harold Adams, and August and Elin Swanson. She is survived by her loving husband, Bob of 46 years and her loving daughters, Dawn (Tim) Moulding and Shannon Sentes; grandchildren Christian, Richard, Marsha, DJ, Justina (Brett) and great-grandchild Brayden. She is also survived by her sister, Donna Mae Adams. Sharon was a survivor of breast cancer of 37 years. She continued her courageous fight with multiple health problems over her last 37 years, but took them in stride. She was a shining example of courage. Her strong faith in God helped her get through her many health challenges which unknown to her quietly inspired others. Sharon loved to crochet table cloths, afghans and baby blankets for friends and family. Sharon was always there with a hug, a smile and words of encouragement. Her love was unconditional. Sharon loved her family dearly and fought hard to stay. She will be missed terribly by all who knew her. Sharon loved her church family, any donations in her name can be made to the ROC Church. A special thank you to Dr. Gebhardt, Dr. Jarikie, Dr. DeWitt and Dr. Elliot, the nursing staff on CSU, Unit 4A and the Congestive Heart Failure Clinic at the Pasqua Hospital. A Celebration of Sharon's Life will be held at the ROC Church, just south of Regina Motor Products on Hwy #6 on Friday, February 7, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. Please bring your favorite memories of her and help us celebrate a life well lived.
