James Michael (Mike) Blandford, 62, Louisville, formerly of St. Mary's, passed away Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013 at his residence.
He was born on Feb. 11, 1950 in Lebanon. Blandford was a retired employee of General Electric in Louisville and was an U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, William O. 'Bill' and Ella Alvey Blandford.
Survivors include: three brothers, Bill Blandford of Louisville, Tom Blandford of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Joe Blandford of St. Mary's; five sisters, Sally Hughes of Highpoint, N.C., Mary T. Blandford and Margaret Age, both of Louisville, Barbara Blandford of Lebanon, and Martha Nell Blandford of St. Louis, Mo.; several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6 at Bosley Funeral Home, Lebanon, with interment in St. Augustine Catholic Church Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.
Pallbearers were Mark Blandford, Joe Blandford Jr., Greg Blandford, John Fischer, Stephen Blandford, and Steve Masterson.
Bosley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
