Columbus, GA- Mr. Robert Raymond Ingram of Columbus passed away peacefully Saturday at Columbus Hospice House at the age of 46.
"Boogie" as he was affectionately known, was born in Ft. Benning on September 27, 1967, GA, to the late Otha, Sr. and Hattie Sistrunk Ingram. He was a graduate of Kendrick High School and attended Philippians Church of God in Christ. Robert was an U. S. Air Force Veteran and was retired from ATT following 21 years of service.
Surviving his departure with cherished memories, include: his sister, Sharon Greenlee (Martinez); a brother, Otha Ingram, Jr., nieces and nephews, Frank Ingram (Varcenia), Martinez Greenlee II (Sheena), Mitchell Greenlee, Fredrick Greenlee (Lashonda), Chiquita Greenlee and Vanessa Greenlee; an aunt, Ruth Brody; a devoted friend, Cynthia Diane Ingram; loving great nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Ingram will be Friday, November 22, 2013 at 1:00 pm at the Progressive Chapel with interment in Evergreen Memorial Park. Elder Ronnie Duckworth will officiate. Visitation is Thursday, 2 til 6:00 pm at the funeral home. The cortege will depart from 1902 Bunkerhill Rd. Apt. A at 12:30 the day of the service.
