Libby was born Nov. 11, 1943, in Lincoln, Ill., the youngest of four children, to Bernadine Pfeiffer Stolz and Thomas Ernest Stolz.
She graduated from both Lincoln High School and The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she played on both the women's golf and basketball teams. Following her college graduation Libby moved west to Southern California where she became a physical education teacher for more than 35 years with the Los Angeles Unified School District.
Libby married Jack Carl Miller on June 16, 1967, and nothing brought her greater joy than raising her three children, Katie, Amy and Pete. The Miller Family enjoyed many adventures together and Libby was a constant fixture at her childrens' school and sports events. She enjoyed coaching, traveling and sharing in the lives of her family, friends and colleagues. Above all else, Grandma Libby loved spending time with her four grandchildren and their numerous friends and families at all of their functions and activities. She could not have been more present in their lives!
Throughout her life Libby maintained special relationships with her friends from high school, sorority sisters and colleagues from teaching. She was adored by many and was always known to have put others needs ahead of her own. Libby was a spectacular athlete, funny, kind, clever, and lived a wonderful life. She will always be remembered and missed dearly.
