Boleslaw Ladzinski, a longtime resident of Yonkers, passed away with his family by his side, on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at St. John's Hospital, after a brief illness. He was 93. He was a devoted husband and family man.
Boleslaw was born in Poland on October 12, 1919. He was a veteran of WWII. In 1945 he married Helena Cieciuch and they immigrated to the Polish community of Yonkers in August 1963 with their 3 sons. He retired from The Tree Preservation Company in the 1980's and enjoyed a lengthy retirement.
Boleslaw is survived by his wife Helena, three sons and their wives, Tadeusz & Lucia Ladzinski of Yonkers, NY, Kazimierz & Wieslawa Ladzinski of Clark NJ, and John & Stephanie Ladzinski of Mohegan Lake NY, as well as 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Thursday, May 23, 2013, from 4PM to 9PM at Yonkers Funeral Service (107 Yonkers Ave). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 24, 2013, at St. Casimir's Church (Nepperhan Ave.) at 10AM. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hastings-on-Hudson NY.
