"Lenny"

Leonard Denise of Stony Point, New York died suddenly Thursday March 10, 2001 at home. He was 64. Lenny was born February 11, 1947 in Yonkers to Joseph and Jean (Matero) Denise. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War in the 25th Infintry serving 1 tour in country. Lenny retired from the Local 456 Teamsters in Elmsford. He was a member of the Haverstraw Elks B.P.O.E. 887 in Haverstraw, and loved riding with his friends.

Leonard is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Pamela, Sons Joseph and his wife Dana of Congers, Lenny of Stony Point, his grandchildren Nico, Joseph Jr., Beau Nicole. He is also survived by his mother Jean, brothers Joseph and his wife Marie, Richard, his sister Phyllis and her husband Joseph Tavares,and many long time friends. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by father Joseph.

Friends may call Sunday 3:00-8:00 pm at the T.J. McGowan Sons Funeral Home GARNERVILLE. Lenny's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11:15 am in St. Gregory Barbarigo Church. Memorial donations are being requested to be sent to Schools to End Poverty P.O. Box 953 Tallman, New York 10982
