Monaco, Louis, Jr.

Louis Monaco Jr, a lifelong resident of Eastchester, NY passed away on June 8, 2013. Louis was born in the Bronx, NY and served his country proudly in the US Army during the Korean War. Upon his return, he married the love of his life, Marie D'Errico with whom he shared 25 wonderful years until her passing in 1982. Louis was a NY City School Teacher for over 35 years, loved fishing and was an avid Yankees fan. He loved ballroom dancing and his "free style" dancing would liven up any party. He was a kind soul and a generous spirit and his family and friends meant the world to him. He is the loving father of Michele (Edward) Isidori, Linda (James) Koerber, Tina Louise (Victor) Ventura, Louis III (Lucy) Monaco, Joann (Andrea) Monaco and Angela (Joseph) Paterno. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Kimberly, Stephanie, Alyssa, Matthew, Victor, Maria, Louis IV, Dana Marie, Carly, Nicholas and Joseph. He is the dear brother of Rudolph, Michael, Edward and the late Daniel Monaco. He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by his family and many friends. The family will receive friends Monday, June 10 from 6-9 pm and Tuesday, June 11 from 3-8pm at Westchester Funeral Home, 190 Main St., Eastchester, NY. , Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, June 12 at 10:30am at the Immaculate Conception Church, Tuckahoe, NY. Entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla, NY.
