Theodore W. Williams, Jr. "Ted" 82 , a former resident of Ossining, New York, passed away Saturday, Feburary 22, 2014 at the Edith Norse Rogers Memorial VA Medical Center, in Bedford, Massachusetts. He was born in the Bronx, New York on September 26, 1931. He was the son of Major Theodore W. and Juliet (Sharon) Williams Sr. He was a 1949 graduate of St. Peters' High School in Peekskill, New York. He was enlisted in the US Marine Corps. from 1950 to 1952, where he received a medical retirement. In 1953 he was married to Jeanne D. (Matheson) Lobotsky for approximately 14 years. He was a lifelong-learner, takings several classes from area colleges, including Pace College and Mercy College where he earned a Degree in Behavioral Science. Ted was a lifelong member of the Marine Corps League and the Disabled American Veteran's; as well as other organizations. He was a former member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Ossining. He also had many friends at the VA Hospital in Montrose, NY, where, over the years, he was an outpatient.

He is survived by three sons and a daughter: Ted (Pam) Williams of Huntington, WV; Ken Williams(a global traveler) of Clinton Corners, NY; Sharon (Jim ) Dik, of Lunenburg, MA. and Daniel (Melody) Williams of Kodak, TN. Other children raised in the home include: Christine (Larry) Baldridge of Ohio, and Cecil Williams of Arizona.

He is also survived by several grandchildren and at least nine great-grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held Saturday, March 1st from 9 to 10:30am with funeral services to follow at 10:30am with Msgr. Robert J. McCabe officiating at Dorsey Funeral Home, Inc. 14 Emwilton Place Ossining. Internment at Dale Cemetery in Ossining.
