DIERSING, ANDREW EDWARD JR., 86, of Custer, KY, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at the V.A. Medical Center.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and retired as an assistant principal at Butler High School.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane (Martin) Diersing.

Survivors include his two children, Mary Ann Crowdis (Robert) and Andrew E. Diersing III (Trina); a sister, Thelma Fletcher; six grandchildren, Danielle, Wesley, Jack, Kaelyn, Linda Jane and Andrew IV; three great-grandchildren, Jimmy, Mary Jane and Skylar.

Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Monday, at St. Louis Bertrand, 1104 S. 6th Street. Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. Sunday at the Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy.
