Federspiel, Andrew, Jr.,

passed away August 16, 2014.

He was a member of Incarnation Church, former owner of Southern Dental Lab., Navy veteran of World War II serving on the Destroyer Escort 536 USS Bivin ,a retired Shively Auxiliary Police Officer, a retired guard for Old Fitzgerald Distillery, and a member of the Knights of Columbus and Disabled American Veterans.

He was preceded in death by his son, Stephen T. Federspiel; and his four brothers; and a sister.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Mildred Federspiel; sons, Andrew "Dru" (Cathy), David (Donna); grandsons, Todd, Michael (Allison), Joel (Ava); granddaughters, Beverly McKnight (Randy), Stephanie Smythe; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and two sister-in-laws, Ruth Ann Miller, Brenda Federspiel, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Incarnation Church, 2229 Lower Hunters Trace with burial in St. Andrews Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday at 1-8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
