ALLGEIER, ANNA CATHERINE, 50, passed away May 10, 2014 while at her home.

She was born April 12, 1964 in Louisville to Cyril L. Allgeier Sr. and Mary A. Hulsman Allgeier.

Anna Catherine was a 1983 graduate of Seneca High School, a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Democratic Woman's Club of Jefferson County, All Wool & A Yard Wide Democratic Club, and Special Olympics, where she was a gold medal winner at the 1999 World Softball Games.

She was preceded in death by her father, Cyril L. Allgeier Sr.

Left to cherish her beautiful memory are her devoted mother, Mary A. Allgeier; brothers, Cyril L. II (Marisol), David (Karen), Tim, Kenneth (Lana), and Kevin; her dog, Oscar; nieces and nephews, Cyril III (Haley), Bryan (Kaitlyn), David Jr., Aaron, Tara (Charles), Kenny Jr. (Courtney), Joey, Mallory, Macy, Zachary, Elyssa (Jesse), Doren, Kelli Husband, and many cousins, especially April.

A Mass will be held in her honor at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3926 Poplar Level Road, with burial to follow at St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at Ratterman and Sons, 3800 Bardstown Road.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of either The Kentucky Special Olympics or Holy Family Catholic Church.
