JEFFERSONVILLE - Decker, Arthur Edward Jr., passed away Saturday, February 9, 2013 with his family by his side.

Art was born in Poughkeepsie, NY, a retired I.B.E.W. Local #369 electrician, a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He was an avid volunteer for many organizations including: Red Cross, USS LST Ship Memorial, Honor Flight, Rolling Thunder/ Run for the Wall, P.O.W./ M.I.A., Toys for Tots, H.O.G.S. and Bee-Keepers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Sr. and Yrleen Decker.

He is survived by his loving wife, Karen Decker, Jeffersonville; stepdaughter, Cindie Weatherford and husband Tim, Cicero, IN; four siblings, Don Decker and wife Linda; Ken Decker and wife Dee; Joe Decker; Joy Decker Stuecker and husband Phil; four stepgrandchildren, Austin, Dakota, Grant and Sterling Weatherford; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Augustine Catholic Church, with burial in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Pkwy., Jeffersonville.
