COAKLEY, BILL EDWARD "BILLY" JR.

45, of Louisville, passed away Monday, February 24, 2014 at the home of his stepmother.

He was born in Newark, OH, and resided in Granville, OH, until he moved to Louisville in 1996. He worked at McDonald's for 13 years and then moved to Zoom Group.He loved to square dance with the Olympic Stars and Cardinal Twirlers, bowl with the Special Olympics and attend the Louisville Cardinal Women's Basketball games. He most enjoyed his life at Day Spring which became his home in 2010 and was recently inaugurated as a resident representative of the Board of Directors.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Penelope Patterson Coakley and Bill Coakley Sr.

He is survived by his stepmother, Charlene Sames Coakley; step-brother, Kevin Pedigo (Mary) of Columbus, OH; and step-sister, Patricia Daniel (Alfred) of Lewes, DE; and two nieces.

Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road and prior to the funeral Mass which will be 11 a.m. at St. Michael's Church, 3705 Stone Lakes Drive with burial in St. Michael's Cemetery.
