SALEM - Brough, Donald Lee, 60, passed away March 27 2013.

He attended Little York School and graduated from Salem High School and Indiana University Southeast. His career as a CPA began in Jasper, IN, and continued in Salem, IN. He was a former Salem Community Schools' Board Member and Board of Advisors at Indiana University Southeast, LifeSpring Mental Health Services and Salem Exchange Club. A devoted supporter of Southern Indiana youth sports as a coach, organizer and broadcaster.
Born on August 5, 1952 in Scottsburg, IN, to Emil and Lois Brough. He was preceded in death by his father, Emil Brough; and brother-in-law, Joe Mills.
He is survived by his mother, Lois Nichols (Doc); and sisters, Sue Humphrey (Larry), Cindy Starr (Danny) and Connie Mills. He is also survived by his former wife of 28 years, Denise Bills-Pendygraft; his sons, Chad (Jamie) and Brandon (Lindsey); four grandchildren, Conner, Lilly, Jackson and Greyson; and his long-time office manager and friend, Linda Hopkins.
A memorial celebration of his life officiated by Rodney Sweeney is scheduled for Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Dawalt Funeral Home. Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy be made to the Washington County Community Foundation for the creation of the Donald L. Brough Scholarship/Memorial Fund P.O. Box 50 Salem, IN, 47167.
