HARMAN, EMMA G. ROSENBERGER, 87 years young, passed away reluctantly Wednesday, December 18, 2013.
She was a retired teacher, a retired nurse, a member of St. Peter the Apostle (formerly St. Polycarp), a member of the St. Polycarp Quilters, and during World War II, she was a veteran of the U.S. Cadet Nurse Corp.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Martin Rosenberger; her second husband, Van "Bill" Harman; and daughter, Ruth Ann.
She is survived by her children, Greg (Libby) and Tim (Debbie) Rosenberger, and Theresa Ann Mahoney (Phil); six grandchildren, Jason, Tim and Paul Rosenberger, Martin McGee, Nellie Childers and Amy Smith; eight great-grandchildren plus one on the way; and a special partner, Richard Smithson.
Her celebration of life service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at Joseph E. Ratterman & Son Funeral Home, 7336 Southside Dr. Her visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Saturday at Rattermans.
