CLAYTON, ERNEST DEAN, 63, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2014. He was a member of Fifth Street Baptist Church, retired from General Electric with 37 years of service and was an Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Field Clayton.

Survivors include his wife, Denise Thomas Clayton; children, Dwayne and Glenn Moore, Dezmond Clayton and Libra Thomas Henry; mother, Zilpha Mae "Tootsie" Clayton; siblings, Pauline Clayton Perkins, Ronald Gene, Gilbert Ray, Velva Jean and Reda Mae Clayton; beloved nephew, Travis Clayton; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday at St. Stephen Baptist Church, 1018 S. 15th Street, with burial in Green Meadows Cemetery. Visitation: 5-9 p.m. Thursday at the church.

Arrangements: A. D. Porter & Sons, 4501 Bardstown Road.
