GNADINGER, FRANK J., 95, of Louisville, passed away on January 8, 2014.

Frank was a proud veteran of the U.S Air Force, where he retired after 28 years of service as a Colonel. Frank then retired from the courier-journal with 45 years of service as a line type tech in the composing room. He was a member of the VFW post 8639, in Okolona, he was also a Kentucky Colonel, an Episcopalian, and enjoyed traveling and flying.
Frank is preceded in death by his daughter, Emily L. Gnadinger, and son, Craig T. Gnadinger.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Emma Lee, and daughter, Leslie Goyne (Gary); grandchildren, Jennifer Schoenbachler (Aron), Ashlie Mills (Dave), Chad Gnadinger (Mandi), Chris Tina Thomas (David); four great-grandchildren, and daughter-in-law, Gay Gnadinger.
A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Gnadinger will be held at 12 noon on Monday, January 13, 2014 at Evergreen Funeral Home, visitation will be held on Sunday from 1-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
