BECKER, GEORGE ANTHONY JR., passed into eternal life on June 6, 2014. He was retired from the U. S. Postal Service with 37 years of service. He was president of the National Association of Postal Supervisors for 6 years. He was a retired Master Sergeant from the Kentucky Air National Guard, and a Korean war veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Anthony Becker, Sr., and Edith Lucille Becker.

He was married for 58 years to his loving wife, Darlys Roberts Becker. Other survivors include his daughter, Cheryl Cook (Ken); sons, Darryl (Dawn), Perry (Leslie), and Terry (Christy); brother, Robert C. Becker; grandsons, Christopher Cook (Katie), Thomas Cook (Laura), and Shayne Becker (Amanda); seven great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, and his loving dog, Miss Penny.

Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. on Monday, June 9, 2014, at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. His funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at Owen with burial in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Crusade for Children or to the Wounded Warrior Project.
