VIBBERT, HAULIE CLARK, 93, of Louisville, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2014.

Born in Mud Camp, KY, he retired from American Standard as a brass assembler. Haulie was a World War II veteran decorated with a Silver Star and a Purple Heart and served in Italy for 3.5 years as a combat engineer. He was a lifetime member of Kentucky Avenue Church of Christ.

Haulie is survived by his wife of 68 years, Hazel Ruby (Middleton) Vibbert; five children, Stephen Vibbert (Darla), Suzanne Brecht (Tom), Jennifer Mundy (Ron), Rebecca Estes (Larry), and Michael Vibbert (Karen); 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

His service will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with burial to follow in Pennsylvania Run Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at Highlands.
