CYNTHIANA - Turner, Hershel "Huck," 93, of Cynthiana, KY, died Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Cedar Ridge Health Campus.

Born in Harrison County, December 13, 1919, to the late, Raymond and Emma Lee Alegree Turner, he was a farmer and a member of the Cynthiana Elk's Lodge #438. Mr. Turner was a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force during World War II and was a prisoner of war for 23 months.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Juanita Sanders.

He is survived by many close friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday at Ware Funeral Home by Pastor Mike Coppersmith. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery.
