KLINE, LT. COL. JAMES M., 82, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Jefferson Manor with family by his side.

He was the son of the late Orlando and Hildegarde Stoesser Kline. He was a graduate of Flaget High School, class of 48, and the J.B. Speed School at the University of Louisville. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War, retiring with the rank of Lt. Colonel. He retired from Standard Gravure as an assistant Technical Director in the Engineering Department.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Imelda Prevatil Kline; daughter, Gayle Benton (Billy Featherstone); son, John Kline (Audrey); a granddaughter, Rebecca; and three brothers, Sherman, Richard, and Thomas Kline.

The family would like to thank the staff at Jefferson Manor, Dr. Jane Cornett and Hosparus of Louisville for all the loving care given to Jim.

His Funeral Mass will be 1 p.m. Saturday, at St. Albert the Great, 1395 Girard Drive, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-6 p.m. Friday and after 11 a.m. Saturday at Ratterman's, 3711 Lexington Road.

Memorial contributions in Jim's memory may be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
