born February 17, 1923 went to our heavenly father on July 10th, 2014.
The world has lost a true World War II hero this week. JB was in the 101st airborne screaming eagles at the Battle of the Bulge as a paratrooper. He was the recipient of: Bronze Star, Two Purple Hearts, Good Conduct Medal, European African Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon with 3 Bronze Stars and One Bronze Arrowhead, American Theater Medal, Victory Metal World War II and Distinguished Unit Citation. Our dad had a very loving and giving spirit who lived a tremendous Christian life always giving to others in Christ. JB attended Crestwood Christian Church and was the president of Price 5 Inc. JB retired from Delmonico Foods a division of Hershey Foods, where he was the Plant Engineer for over 30 years.
JB leaves behind a devoted wife of 65 beautiful years, Freddie Price; his son, Mark Price; daughters, Holly Martin Price (Wayne), and Lisa Westerman Price (Donald).
Service will be held at the Crestwood Christian Church, 6525 W Highway 22, Crestwood, KY, 502-241-4618. Visitation will be Sunday, July 13, 2014 from 12-1 p.m., with the service immediately following. Burial will be at Duncan Memorial Cemetery.
