MORRIS, JEAN, 86, died Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Jefferson Place.
She attended University of Michigan, was a graduate of University of Louisville and co-owner of Service Supply Home Furnishings. She was member of The Temple, Women of Reform Judaism, former vice president Brith Sholom Sisterhood, past president Brith Sholom Couples Club, served on the College and Caring Committees for National Union American Hebrew Congregation, nationally and locally and she was a tutor for JCPS.
She is survived by her husband, Jacques Morris; a son, Jan Morris ( Nancy Gall-Clayton); daughters, Judy Morris of Nashville, TN, Joyce Morris of Oklahoma City, OK and JoAnn Morris of Indianapolis, IN; sister, Betty Ann Morse of Long Boat Key, FL; and two grandsons, James and Joshua Morris.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Herman Meyer & Son, 1338 Ellison Ave., with burial in The Temple Cemetery. Visitation will be after noon on Friday.
