Crump, Kenneth George,

89, is now dancing eternally in heaven as of July 30, 2014.

He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II. Retired president of United Furniture Company and worked at Belknap Hardware in furniture sales. He was a member of the Shively Jaycee's.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 66 years, Ella Murphy Crump, grandson, Nathen "Kyle" Kopp and two siblings.

He is survived by his children, Corinne Smith (Bill), Steven Crump (Therese), Carol Preston (Dan), Linda Bourke (Kevin), and Karen Kopp (Mike), grandchildren, Adam and Nicole Smith, Scott and Lee Preston, Anthony (Samantha) and Daniel (Olivia) Bourke, and Nicholas (Lisa) Kopp. Also 5 wonderful siblings and 9 great grandchildren.

His funeral Mass will be held 10 am Saturday, August 2, 2014 at St. Barnabas Catholic Church; 3042 Hikes Lane, followed by interment in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 - 8pm Friday at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home; 3800 Bardstown Road.
