KAPPESSER, KENNETH, 80, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at the Jewish Hospital.

Kenneth was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict, a member of St. James Church and a retired machinist for American Air Filter/Famco. He was an accomplished professional guitarist & past member of the Musicians Union.

Preceded in death by his parents, Helena and Arthur Kappesser; brother, Arthur Earl Kappesser.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Nina (Gentry) Kappesser; four children, Nancy Felker (Terry), Cindy Davis (Larry), Sally Kappesser and Ronnie Kappesser (Kim); ten grandchildren, Josh, Jesse, Morgan, Meredith, Erin, Amanda, Andrew, Kenny, Ashley and Norman; nine great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Michael Kappesser; and three nephews.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Friday.
