WISCHERTH, LESLIE "CRAIG," 65, of Louisville, passed away Friday, August 16, 2013 at his home.

Born in Louisville, he was a graduate of Christ the King Grade School, Flaget High School and attended Bellarmine College. Craig was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, a Louisville police officer, and a fugitive detective for the Commonwealth Attorney's Office.
Craig was preceded in death by his father George; his brother, George III; his stepfather, Larry Layne; and a cousin, Dennis Langley.
He is survived by his three sons, Andrew, Thomas and James; mother, Alma Layne; the mother of his children, Lydia Sherrill; sister, Stephanie Harris (Terry) and their children, Brian Dunbar and Charlie Harris; granddaughter, Ava; and aunts, Helen Langley and Mary Galvez (her kids, Johanna Galvez and Ray Crable).
Craig's funeral Mass will be celebrated noon Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 639 S. Shelby St., with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Monday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
