Arnold, Lorena Zimmerman,

96, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Jefferson Place.

She was a native of Lawrence County, OH, a graduate of Rio Grande College and a retired elementary school teacher.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Lester Lowell Arnold; her parents, George and Chloe Zimmerman; and her four brothers, Lowell, Alden, Collis and Merrill.

Survivors include sons, Jeffrey Mark Arnold (Sandra) and Jonathan David Arnold (Ellen Cullinan); grandchildren, Christopher Andrew Arnold (Alicia), Michael Adam Arnold (Holly) and Dr. Meghan Alexa Arnold; four great-grandchildren, Jordan, Ian, Calvin and Evangeline; several generations of nieces and nephews and family friend and caregiver Charles May.

Funeral will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Pearson's, 149 Breckenridge Lane, with visitation from 1 p.m. until time of service on Monday. Burial will be in Abbottsville (Ohio) Cemetery.
