THOMPSON, MARY JANET "JAN," 86, of Louisville, died September 4, 2013 at Meadowview Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on December 6, 1926 in Loretta, Kentucky to the late Thomas J. and Annie Medley Blandford. She was retired from Bell South in 1991 and was a member of the Women of Moose Home Chapter on Fegenbush Lane. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church.

She is survived by her children, Joseph R. Thompson (Betty), Aaron W. Thompson (Clara), Shelia Snider (Bob), Jean C. Graves (Dennis) and John E. "Ed" Thompson (Julia); 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a half sister, Sister Jean Madeline OSU.

The family would like to thank Dr. Jane Cornett, Angie and all the loving staff at Meadowview for the love shown to them.

Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Monday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3521 Goldsmith Lane, Louisville, KY 40220 with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Sunday at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road.
