SPELLMAN, MICHAEL C., 67, of Louisville, entered into rest on Monday, March 17, 2014, at Baptist Healthcare East.

He was a retired mechanic of Jay's Auto and had worked at A1 Air Conditioning. He was an Army veteran of Vietnam. He was a member of the Woodlawn VFW Post.

Mr. Spellman was preceded in death by his brothers, Anthony and Joseph Spellman.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Pat Spellman; two daughters, Deborah Breland (Michael) and Michelle Spellman (Sheri Spellman); two grandchildren, Charlotte Jackson and Caleb Spellman; sister, Pamela A. Spellman; friend, Steve Browne; and many other friends and family.

His funeral service will be on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the Arch L. Heady Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 8519 Preston Hwy., with interment following in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery. Visiting will be on Wednesday from 1 p.m. until his time of service.
