ELIZABETHTOWN - Raisor, Mickey Douglas, 63, formerly of Okolona, KY, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2014.

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Kathy (Casey) Raisor; son, Douglas Raisor; daughter, Tanya (Brad) Thurman; granddaughter, Madison Thurman; grandson, Blake Thurman, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Thelma (Richmond) Raisor; his brother, James Raisor, and his sister, Audrey Clayton.
Mickey was retired from G.E., where he worked for 36 years as an assembly worker. He served for 25 years on the Okolona Fire Department as a volunteer fireman. For 18 of those years, he was an assistant chief and he served on the board of trustees for 17 years. Mickey was a volunteer deputy game warden for 11 years at Fort Knox, was a member of the NRA, Zoneton Masonic Lodge#964 F. and A.M., American Legion Post 113, and Patriot Guard. Mickey was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors.
Funeral services will be held noon Saturday at the Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, with Rev. Paul RoundTree officiating. Burial will be at the Valley Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitations will be held on Friday from noon-8 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. -noon at the Manakee Funeral Home of Elizabethtown.
