BROWN, NATHANIEL M. SR., 81, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014.

He was a retired school bus driver for Jefferson County Public Schools and a Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Angela Newcomb; sons, Gregory, Nathaniel Jr., and Dawayne Brown; stepson, Anthony Jamal Newcomb; daughter, Jessica Brown; brothers, Tommy Sonny and Jerry Brown; sisters, Carolyn James, Willie Mae Stell, Regina Summers and Wilma Henderson; 18 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.

His funeral service will be held 1p.m. Sunday at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy. Visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday from 2-8 p.m. Interment will be in Kentucky Veterans Central.
