TRIPLETT, RICHARD B. "DICKIE," 66, of Louisville, passed away Monday, July 15, 2013.

He was a retired electrician for the Local IBEW 369. He was an alumnus of Flaget High School and a member of Mary Queen of Peace Church. He was also an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He enjoyed his retirement, especially spending time vacationing with his family, boating and golfing.

Dickie was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Helen Triplett; sister, Vernie Bishop and brother, Larry Triplett.

He is survived by his wife, Rose M. (Meany) Triplett; daughter, Kelly Cowley (Brian); grandson, Harrison Cowley; brothers, Al Triplett (Rose) and Ray Triplett (Kathy); sisters, Shirley Huhn, Weezie Weihe, Carol Lee (George) and Barbara Bell (Paul); brother-in-law, Pinky Bishop; and good buddy, Shawna Strode.

His service will be 10 a.m. Friday at Mary Queen of Peace, 4005 Dixie Hwy., with cremation to follow. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy.
