Clark, Richard Donald,

87, of Louisville died Saturday, August 23, 2014 after a long and courageous struggle with Alzheimer's disease.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Myrtle Clark; a son, Larry Clark; five sisters and four brothers.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, LaVonne Allen; his beloved daughter, Lauren Clark and a host of nieces and nephews.

Rick was a Navy veteran of World War II, a member of Southeast Christian Church, a locomotive engineer for the old Illinois Central Railroad and a retired ironworker for Local #70.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday August 30, at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown with a reception immediately following the service. Private Inurnment at Resthaven Memorial Park.

In lieu of Flowers a donation to the or Hosparus would be gratefully appreciated.
