MOORE, RICHARD M., 83, of Louisville passed on July 14, 2013 at the home of his daughter. He was retired from the United States Army with 20 years of service and had later worked at the Boland - Maloney Lumber Company. Richard was a member of the VFW Post #3636 and Amvets Post #1.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mable Moore.

Survivors include his two children, Theresa Davis and Gary Fuqua (Meg); special family friend, Denise Zaremba; sister, Viola Harrington; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be conducted on Thursday at noon in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village. Entombment with Military Honors will be at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4-8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
