NASH, SCOTT, 73, entered into eternal peace on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 while working in his home garden.

He was born May 17, 1940, in Poseyville, IN, to Clyde Cabett Nash and Kathryn Ann (Grinn) Nash.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Catherine Kimmel Nash; a daughter, Anne Kathryn Nash; sisters and brothers-in-law: Carolyn Nash and Iain Macarthur, London, England and Rebecca Nash and Jack Krueger; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Scott Nash is predeceased by his parents and his sister, Susan Nash.
Scott graduated from Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, MS and received his master's degree in education from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. He was an avid tennis and golf player; also a special education teacher at Doss, Moore and Southern high schools. He taught for two years in England. He was previously a member of the Indiana National Guard. He loved music, his garden, home-cooked food and especially his family.
Scott was a gentle giant. He was thoughtful of others and generous in sharing the gifts of his garden. He did not have an enemy in the world. He impressed all who knew him with his kindness.
Plans for a memorial service have not been finalized.
