Cook, Thomas B., Jr.,|
77, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014.
He was an Army Veteran, a graduate of WKU with a bachelor's degree and a member of John Knox Presbyterian Church. He retired from Burt R. Huncilman Company. He also worked many years at Kentucky Machinery, Inc. He was a member of the Kentucky Rifle Association and lifetime member of the NRA.
Mr. Cook is survived by his loving wife of almost 50 years, Mary Hoskinson Cook; his children, Thomas B. Cook, III (Julie) and Cathy Grant; five grandchildren, Sarah, Hannah and Eli Cook, and Adrian and Millie Grant; and a sister, Rosemary Almy. He is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be 4-8 p.m. Monday, July 14, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with prayer service to follow. Interment will be Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Elizabethtown Cemetery, Elizabethtown, KY, at 11 a.m. A memorial service will be 3 p.m. on August 3, 2014 at John Knox Presbyterian Church, 9104 Westport Rd, Louisville, KY, 40242.
