TALLEY, WILLIAM R. III, 65, of Louisville, passed away, Sunday, July 28, 2013.

He was a United States Postal service retiree and Army veteran having served three tours in Vietnam and was a double Purple Heart recipient.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Angel Benham, grandson, Zachary Benham and his parents, William and Gloria Talley.

He is survived by his wife, the former Angie Chan, daughter, Robyn Talley; sister, Cathy Yost; brothers, Kerry and Ted (Paige) Talley, sisters-in-law, Seline But (Jack) and Lucy Sedmina (Karl); nieces, Christine, Megan, Erin, Anna and Gloria; nephews, Chris, Jackson and Orson.

Funeral service will be noon Thursday at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home, 411 Fairdale Road, with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to WHAS Crusade for Children.
